The artist Guy Portelli, ARBS has been commissioned to create a sculpture to commemorate the world famous lavender fields of Mitcham., to stand in the centre of Wallington.
The finished piece in bronze, mosaic and reconstituted stone stands 18ft. tall and reflects a Celtic influence, the area having been inhabited by the Celts thousands of years before.
